FrenchSounds, LLC offers you an individually tailored program to improve your conversational French abilities with special emphasis on Standard French PRONUNCIATION. Lessons are conducted by videoconference on Skype or iChat, by toll-free phone call within the continental USA, or in person locally at the FrenchSounds office in Farmington, Connecticut. One-on-one lessons are offered to individuals for travel or business purposes as well as for personal enrichment. You may want to review French previously studied or else learn "survival" French skills for upcoming vacation or business trips to a French-speaking country. Your personal enrichment program will guide you through one-on-one conversational sequences and will include exercises for French sounds and intonation patterns to help you achieve a near-native pronunciation. Some individuals may prefer to focus solely on perfecting their pronunciation skills. At the individual's request, private lessons can be geared towards cultural, business, or travel topics and can include literary analysis in addition to a stronger focus on grammatical structure and stylistic levels. |
Tutoring is available to college, high school and middle school students to help improve their knowledge of the subject and, subsequently, their grades. Children up to 12 years of age can learn French through songs and games and can acquire French reading and writing skills. Parents are strongly encouraged to participate with their children in order to reinforce the skills between lessons. A caregiver must be present if lessons for children are done by videoconference over the Internet. Bilingual children can take lessons based on the standard French curriculum, if desired. |
