program to improve your conversational French abilities with special
emphasis on PRONUNCIATION.
The lessons are
given in the privacy of your home, school, or office through VIDEOCONFERENCING
on your computer or by TOLL-FREE TELEPHONE from within the U.S.
Local lessons are offered in person at the FrenchSounds, LLC
office in Farmington, CT.

Your personal program
will guide you through one-on-one conversational sequences and
will include exercises of French sounds and intonation patterns
to help you achieve a near-native pronunciation.
Each lesson lasts
30 minutes. The number of lessons is determined by your individual
needs and rate of progress.
Conversational
sequences can be geared toward business or travel topics at the
student's request.
Lessons are given
at all levels of proficiency in French, from that of the BEGINNER
who is eager to speak with proper pronunciation to that of the
ADVANCED NEAR-NATIVE SPEAKER who wants to identify and improve
specific elements of pronunciation.
FrenchSounds, LLC
has developed its own
pronunciation materials that incorporate individual sounds within
various intonation patterns. They also include practice
of liaison, the dropping of mute-e's, and the various levels of
speech style.
The FrenchSounds, LLC teaching materials will be sent to you before each
lesson or Package of lessons. You must purchase your own
French text at the bookstore of your choice, unless you only want
to practice pronunciation with the FrenchSounds, LLC
materials which are included in the lesson fees.
