Local Lessons

If you live in or near the Farmington Valley in the State of Connecticut, USA and would prefer to take lessons in person, FrenchSounds, LLC offers individual lessons at its office in Farmington or possibly at your business or school location.

Tutoring is offered to college, high school, or middle school students to help improve their knowledge of the subject and, subsequently, their grades.

One-on-one lessons are offered to individuals who want to review French they have learned previously in order to prepare for upcoming vacation or business trips to a French-speaking country.

Lessons are also offered to beginners in the language who want to learn "survival" French for tourists or who want to learn the language for their personal enrichment.

Children from 7 to 12 years of age can learn French through songs and games and acquire French reading and writing skills. Children who are bilingual native speakers can be taught the standard French curriculum. FrenchSounds, LLC also accepts children younger than 7 years old, but the parent or guardian should be present during the lesson.

In all cases, Standard French pronunciation will be heavily stressed during the lessons.
